SADRAG was conceived in 2004 by a group of professionals working for child rights & protection, women empowerment & community development through action research, advocacy, program implementation & monitoring. Apart from running 7 full-fledged projects, SADRAG runs an active Action Research arm, which conducts research with the intention of using it in projects for women and children in communities.
2. Business sustainability
Today, SADRAG provides women and children with the skills that guarantee employment, role models they can relate to and exposure that helps them become functional, self-reliant members of society. Since 2004, SADRAG has expanded to 4 locations in India and will continue to add more beneficiaries to its projects.
By giving women and children in communities the necessary expertise, support and financial aid over a significant period of time, we can alleviate and eventually remove the current lack of self-reliance that has become a defining characteristic of both rural and urban communities.
