Pollinate Energy

Pollinate Energy is a social business working to improve the lives of India's urban poor. We do this by training local entrepreneurs to sell products - such as solar lights - to urban slum residents on deferred payment plans. Pollinate Energy also educates future leaders about social entrepreneurship. We do this by bringing together Indian and Australian students and young professionals to work with us in India on challenging and complex business problems.

Sales Manager-Lucknow


Logistics of role You will report to the Executive Vice President (Sales) and be based in Hyderabad. Timings are flexible but will generally be from Sunday to Thursday, 11am – 7pm, with Sunday being our most important day. You will be required to do a significant amount of fieldwork, going out into our communities with our Pollinators 3-4 full days per week. Responsibilities Overall management of our Pollinator sales team, as well as office staff in Hyderabad, with a strong focus on sales and repayments. This will include: Responsible for P&L in the city and bringing the city to financial sustainability Recruit, train, mentor and manage team of around 15 Pollinators to service urban slums in the city, along with Recruitment Manager.
